BLOOP! is a board game you can play among a small group of friends of about 4 to 8.
It revolves around strategic play combined with a lighthearted atmosphere.
Character Tokens - Visualization and Material
MAIN TASK

In this group project, I was tasked with designing the character tokens which players of the game would use throughout.
CHALLENGE: To design tokens which are fresh and adhere to the brand identity and persona set by my teammates.
SOLUTION: To opt for a light color palette and playful character which does not take away from the colorful aspects of the game.

To design tokens which are fresh and adhere to the brand identity and persona set by my teammates.

Board Design

CHALLENGE: To make a board design that is expansive and represents the game concept effectively, while at the same time does not compromise on usability and portability.
SOLUTION: Dividing the board into 4 parts that can be fit inside a box and be assembled easily; and adopting a color palette that compliments the rest of the game components and rules.

CHALLENGE: To create a game that follows the theme ‘Make Me Laugh!’. Watch the official Global Game Jam 2024 Theme Reveal here.
SOLUTION: A game which urges the people playing it to fulfill silly tasks and earn rewards for them; with the catch that they have to make sure that their tasks are not disrupted by other players.

EACH CARD CONTAINS:
THE TASK: What the person holding a card has to do for 2 turns in order to secure it.
THE REWARD: The ability gained by a player once they complete 2 turns of the said card. They can use this to disrupt other player’s games and win first.
TRACKER: To track the number of turns they have completed for a specific card.
